OEM Plus: You may be an OEM-or-nothing Tacoma owner, and we totally get that. There's something to be said for the factory CAD-designed components and standards, and Toyota is among the best for it. These new OEM LED housings come directly from Toyota's North American Lighting (NAL) division and are factory-sealed--no incandescent or halogen bulbs to replace! The durable polycarbonate lenses are factory UV coated and meet the high standards of Toyota's benchmark. For added peace of mind, adding clear LaminX protective film will only further help reduce the risk of UV damage and rock chips alike.Output: Using complex optical design, these LED headlights use faceted reflectors to produce not only an intense output, but usable too. The low beams offer a wide and consistent output, and the high beams have even more punch than stock. In our own comprehensive multi-point output testing, the low beam performance in these OEM heads slightly surpasses that of the popular Morimoto XB Evo headlights!Plug and Play: Most of the 2016-2023 Toyota Tacoma trucks have halogen headlights with the white elbow-shaped LED DRL. For these trucks, the optional wiring adapters make installation a breeze. If your truck is a base model with the incandescent DRLs (the yellow turn signal bulb), unfortunately the factory wiring is different, and we do not have a compatible adapter. See the compatibility photo for visual confirmation.Switchback: These headlights offer a larger u-shaped DRL outline surrounding the low/high beam reflectors for added visibility. With the turn signal activated, the white DRL shuts off and the same optics illuminate amber then turn off in a slick sequential-off effect. This large switchback turn signal is extremely visible to other drivers, letting your intentions known.
