At YotaLED.com, we strive to provide high-quality automotive lighting products and exceptional customer service. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, this Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which returns, exchanges, refunds, and warranty claims are accepted.
By placing an order through YotaLED.com, you agree to the terms of this Return & Refund Policy.
1. Return Eligibility
Most new, unused products purchased from YotaLED.com may be returned within 30 calendar days from the date of delivery.
To qualify for a return, the item must:
- Be in new, unused, and uninstalled condition.
- Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, hardware, and documentation.
- Not show signs of installation, modification, damage, or misuse.
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase (electronic proof is sufficient)
Products returned that do not meet these conditions may be refused or will be subject to a restocking fee that exceeds our standard, as determined by YotaLED.com.
2. Return Authorization (RMA)
Before returning any merchandise, customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number from YotaLED.com.
Returns received without an authorized RMA may be refused and returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
RMA requests may be submitted by contacting Customer Support.
An RMA does not guarantee approval of a refund. All returned merchandise is inspected upon receipt.

3. Non-Returnable Items
Unless prohibited by applicable law, the following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom-built or made-to-order products.
- Products modified at the customer's request (this includes painting, conversions, and any cutting/splicing/wiring outside typical product parameters).
- Clearance, closeout, or final sale items clearly marked as non-returnable.
- Electrical components that have been installed or used
- Products damaged through misuse, improper installation, abuse, accidents, negligence, or unauthorized modification.
- Items missing original components or packaging.
4. Custom and Special Order Products
Products manufactured, assembled, customized, or modified specifically for a customer's order are considered custom products.
Because these products are produced specifically for the customer, they are generally non-refundable and non-returnable unless they arrive defective or damaged due to YotaLED.com's error. This includes custom built products at installation site.
5. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
Customers should inspect their shipment immediately upon delivery.
If a shipment arrives damaged, incomplete, or contains incorrect items, the customer must notify YotaLED.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Whenever possible, customers should retain the original packaging and provide photographs of:
- The shipping box
- Shipping label
- Product packaging
- Damaged product(s)
Failure to timely report shipping damage may affect the ability to recover compensation from the carrier. Reporting must be done through email and not social media, and must contain as many detailed images as possible and not be in HEIC format.
6. Defective Products
If a product is defective due to a manufacturing defect covered by its applicable warranty, YotaLED.com will, at its discretion and consistent with applicable law:
- Repair the product;
- Replace the product;
- Replace the defective component; or
- Issue a refund if repair or replacement is not commercially reasonable.
Normal wear and tear, improper installation, abuse, accidents, modifications, and damage caused by third parties are not considered manufacturing defects.
7. Refunds
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, YotaLED.com will notify the customer regarding approval or denial of the refund. Most refunds are completed on Fridays. If your refund is not processed the first Friday after receipt of merchandise, please allow til the following Friday for this process to complete.
Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method.
Original shipping charges, expedited shipping fees, installation costs, labor charges, taxes collected by governmental authorities where non-refundable, and similar service charges are generally not refundable unless required by law or the return results from YotaLED.com's error.
Refund processing times back to your payment method will vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
8. Restocking Fees
Returns that are not the result of YotaLED.com's error may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price.
Restocking fees help offset inspection, testing, repackaging, replacement of ancillary parts and inventory handling costs.
No restocking fee will be charged where prohibited by applicable law.
9. Return Shipping
Unless the return results from our error, shipment damage, or a verified warranty defect, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Customers are responsible for ensuring returned merchandise is adequately packaged. Items must have signature or proof of delivery required for confirmation of return. We recommend using a shipping method that includes tracking and insurance through UPS, Fedex, or USPS in most cases.
YotaLED.com is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
10. Refused Deliveries
Orders refused by the customer after shipment, or returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer, will be treated as a standard return.
Shipping charges, carrier return fees, and any applicable restocking fee may be deducted from the refund.
11. Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled prior to shipment. However, custom or special order products cannot be canceled once production has begun. If the item is in transit and is not a custom product but is special order, a 15% cancel fee will be charged.
Once an order has entered fulfillment, manufacturing, or shipment, cancellation may no longer be possible.
12. Disputes
Customers agree to first contact YotaLED.com regarding any order issue before initiating a payment dispute.
Initiating a dispute or chargeback does not eliminate the customer's obligation to return merchandise where applicable.
YotaLED.com reserves all rights to contest improper or fraudulent disputes or chargebacks.
YotaLED.com reserves the right to seek remediation through small claims, civil, or debt collection agency.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights that consumers may have under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Where this policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws shall control.
